This course provides advanced knowledge and understanding of the practices and processes of engineering technologies required for a role within the Engineering Sector.
You will study units on understanding of engineering and environmental health and safety and optional units, from Mechanical and Maintenance engineering technology and Electrical and Electronics technology.

4 GCSEs at grade 4 or equivalent Level 2 qualification.

Notepad/paper, pen, pencils, calculator (mobile phone is not acceptable for this).

Assessment/Exam information

Subjects are normally continually assessed by means of a series of practical and theory assessment including open book test papers and online tests.

Other information

During the course you will receive expert tuition from well-qualified and experienced staff. Within the college, you will also have access to a range of facilities; i.e. Learning Resource Centre, IT Centre, Student Centre etc.
