Apprenticeships refer to on the job training leading to nationally-recognised qualifications, developed by industry. The National Apprenticeship Service supports, funds and co-ordinates the delivery of apprenticeships throughout England.

Swindon College will provide a training coordinator who will be able to support and guide you. They will work with you to:

  • Help you decide which Apprenticeship is right for you
  • Explain the way that Apprenticeships work
  • Agree a training plan with you
  • Manage the training and evaluation
  • Ensure that national quality standards are met and deliver integrated, coherent training

In order to begin an apprenticeship you must be employed, however, don’t worry if you don't have an employer just yet as there are many ways in which Swindon College can help you.
