Level 3 Solving Problems & Making Decisions

This course aims to develop the learners’ knowledge and understanding to enable them to solve problems and make decisions as required by a practising or potential first line manager.

On completion of the course the learner will:

• Know how to describe a problem, its nature, scope and impact
• Know how to gather and interpret information to solve a problem
• Know how to evaluate options to make a decision
• Know how to plan, monitor and review the implementation and communication of decisions

One day course followed by assignment.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but participants will have sufficient skills in English to complete the assignments and normally be practicing or aspiring first line managers with supervisory opportunities to meet the assessment demands and a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.
