ILM Level 3 Award Leadership & Management

The ILM Level 3 Award in Leadership and Management is a concise qualification which gives an introduction to the basic skills, knowledge and understanding required by today’s first line manager. The mandatory unit ‘Solving Problems and Making Decisions’ is designed to develop practical techniques for tackling managerial problems and making decisions from gathering and interpreting information through to the effective communication of outcomes.

3 - 6 months duration.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements but participants will have sufficient skills in English to complete the assignments and normally be practicing or aspiring first line managers with supervisory opportunities to meet the assessment demands and a background that will enable them to benefit from the programme.

What do I need to bring?

Pen and folder.

Assessment/Exam information

Each assignment is individually marked with a Pass or Refer (meaning further work is required). You will complete one mandatory unit with a credit value of 2.

Optional units with a minimum total credit of 3.

There is a work-based assignment for each unit.
