Level 2 Control of Substances Hazardous to Health

This qualification, held over 1 day, is aimed at those learners who work in an environment where coming into contact with hazardous substances is likely. This includes workplaces in areas such as manufacturing, cleaning, healthcare, transport, utilities and office environments. It gives learners the knowledge and skills to recognise the risks associated with hazardous substances and how to control them.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, just an interest or requirement for Health and Safety training. Level 1 English is advisable.

What do I need to bring?

Pen, pencil and notebook. You will need to bring Photographic ID, e.g. Passport /Driving Licence for the assessment.

Assessment/Exam information

This qualification is assessed through a multiple-choice examination. The paper is set and marked by HABC.
