HABC L1 Principles & Practices of Health & Safety

This qualification focuses on the importance of maintaining health and safety and ensuring that employee actions reduce risks in the workplace. 
Learners will gain a sound introduction to all aspects of health and safety including legislation, fire procedures, chemical safety, manual handling and personal protective equipment. It is ideal as an introduction to general health and safety for any environment. This courfse takes place over one morning.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements, just an interest in Health and Safety. Entry 3 Level English is advisable.

What do I need to bring?

Pen. You will need to bring Photographic ID, e.g. Passport /Driving Licence for the assessment.

Assessment/Exam information

Upon successful completion of a short multiple choice exam learners will be provided with a certificate. The paper is set and marked by HABC.
