Award in First Aid at Work (3 day)

If your employer has decided that your workplace requires first-aiders they must have been trained by an approved organisation and hold a qualification in first aid at work or emergency first aid at work.

The First Aid at Work qualification is for anybody, from any industry, who would like to become a nominated first aider or who would like to be well equipped should a first aid incident happen in their work place or at home. You will be given the knowledge and skills to deal with immediate first aid resulting from a number of different injuries or illnesses.

The course is run over 3 days and is assessed via a simulated practical assessment, completion of an accident report and question paper at the end of the course.

Entry Requirements

Level 2 English is advisable.

What do I need to bring?

Pen, pencil and notebook. You will need to bring valid photographic ID, for example: a Passport/Driving Licence for the assessment.

Assessment/Exam information

This qualification is assessed through a practical assessment and completion of an accident report and questionnaire.
