Adult Maths courses

The courses are aimed at Adults aged 19+ who wish to return to education to improve their general maths skills.

These friendly courses will enable learners to update their skills, improve their confidence and gain some qualifications. The courses cover a wide variety of maths topics, in order to improve general skills and help with everyday living and work.

Learners engage in group and individual activities to improve their skills. Tutors work with individual students to produce learning programmes that will best suit each learner’s needs and aims.

Courses are free (subject to eligibility criteria) and are available in the daytime or evening.

Entry Requirements

None – just a desire to improve your Maths skills.
All students need to book to meet a tutor for an informal discussion.

Many classes have additional support in the form of Volunteers, who can help you in achieving your goals. Students have access to the many learning facilities that the College offers, including extensive library resources and internet access.
