Certificate in Introduction to Early Years Education and Care

The aim of the qualification is to prepare learners to work with children between birth and five years with knowledge of children up to seven years.
You will be required to provide both written evidence in the form of assignments to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding.
As part of your course you will be required to carry out observations and activities at your work placement working with your supervisor plan.

Entry Requirements

3 GCSEs at grade 3 or equivalent Level 1/2 qualification, including English Language and Maths.

Qualification description

NCFE Cache Level 2 Certificate in an Introduction to Early Years Education and Care. You will be required to achieve 33 credits , a mininum of 250 work placement hours and assessment will be through a range of methods. Duration of course is 1 year and grade outcome is Pass.
