Level 3 - Hairdressing Apprenticeship

Chloe Ewin Case Study
Chloe, 18, recently completed her Level 3 Hairdressing Apprenticeship and has been chosen as Hairdressing Apprentice of the Year by her tutor Maria Sly and Training Coordinator, Sarah Clark.
Chloe started working at Changes Salon as a Saturday Girl whilst she was still at secondary school and after her GCSEs, she felt she wanted to continue to learn outside of the classroom, so worked full time at the salon for a year before starting an Apprenticeship.
Chloe started her Apprenticeship at Level 2, which she completed within one year – a year ahead of schedule. She then went on to Level 3, which she has just completed. She says:

I preferred the learning style of the Apprenticeship as I was able to gain experience in the workplace; I have been able to build up my own list of clients whilst studying. I know I’ll continue to learn from my colleagues in the salon - we work really well as a team and I’ve even been able to help our new Apprentice.

Salon owner Zoe Nethercott said:

Chloe’s positive attitude has always been a breath of fresh air; she’s very enthusiastic about the hairdressing industry and has a natural creative flair. Chloe is dynamic, versatile and most importantly, a very loyal employee.
